Course Overview

The Aviation Operation Excellence Series (AOES) provides aviation professionals with essential frameworks for operational planning, safety management, and regulatory compliance. 

It focuses on streamlining ground and cabin processes, optimizing resource efficiency, and consistently delivering high-quality passenger service experiences.

Course Curriculum

The Aviation Operation Excellence Series is an immersive programme engineered to build integrated operational competency across air traffic, airport, safety, and emergency response functions.

  1. Module 1: Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM)
  2. Module 2: Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM)
  3. Module 3: Aviation Safety Management System (ASMS)
  4. Module 4: Human Factors in Aviation (HUFA)
  5. Module 5: Emergency Response Management (ERMA)

Rigorous Evaluation Standards

  • Continuous Assessment: Daily quizzes and group discussions confirming a solid grasp of ATFM, A-CDM, ASMS, human factors, and emergency response principles.

  • Practical Application: Hands-on practical exercises and scenario-based tabletop simulations evaluating operational decision-making under pressure and disruption.

 

Successful participants will receive the AvAC Certificate of Competency in Aviation Operation Excellence (AOES).

Pre-requisite

  • An operational background in aviation — applicable to Air Traffic Controllers, Air Navigation Service Provider personnel, Airport Operations Personnel, Airline Operations Officers, Civil Aviation Authority Personnel, Aviation Safety Managers, Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Personnel, Emergency Response Teams, Aviation Security Personnel, and other Aviation Industry Professionals; or

  • as determined by Civil Aviation Authority or other states Regulator/ Air Navigation Service Provider.
