Objective

To build participants’ capability to plan and deliver effective on-the-job training. The course aimed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to conduct OJT programs in accordance with ICAO Doc 9941, Annex 1, and Doc 9868, covering key areas such as organising training, maintaining records, and ensuring safety through human factors awareness in both simulator and live training environments. Participants were also trained in a variety of training techniques and assessed on their understanding of relevant ICAO standards and regulations. A further objective was to enable participants to design and implement OJT programs tailored to their organisation’s specific needs. Upon completion, participants were expected to be able to independently conduct on-the-job training by applying all of the above competencies.
