Course Overview
ICAO OJTI Course is a cross-disciplinary program designed to equip experienced aviation professionals with the pedagogical frameworks, risk management tools, and assessment techniques required to train the next generation of personnel safely and effectively within a live operational environment.
Participants will learn to assess individual training needs, plan and deliver structured on-the-job sessions, apply objective performance assessment techniques, and produce clear, regulation-compliant training reports.

Rigorous Evaluation Standards
- Final Written Test: Verifying core comprehension of ICAO instructional design, safety management, and assessment methodologies.
- Practical Test: A scenario-based role-play simulation where the candidate must demonstrate effective briefing, real-time intervention management, and post-session performance documentation.
Upon meeting the standard, participants receive an internationally recognized ICAO On-the-Job Training Instructor Certificate.
Pre-requisite
- Experience as an operational subject matter expert in a relevant discipline (Air Traffic Services, Flight Operations, Maintenance & Engineering, Cabin & Ground Operations, or Safety & Security); or
- as determined by Civil Aviation Authority or other states Regulator/ Air Navigation Service Provider.
