From theory to the operations room. This course instils the fundamental knowledge, applied skills, and professional attitude required to progress toward a validated Area Control Procedural rating on your ATC Licence.

Objective
Trainees shall apply operational procedures to deliver a safe, orderly, and expeditious air traffic control service in accordance with CAD 1101 (ICAO Doc 4444 – Air Traffic Management). Through lectures, guided learning activities, and simulator exercises, trainees are expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the topics outlined in ICAO Annex 1 (CAD 1 – Personnel Licensing), meeting the standards set by the ATS State Regulatory Authority, in preparation for On-The-Job Training leading to a validated Area Control Procedural rating.
